About Lakshmi

Lakshmi Shankar is London trained and has more than 15 years experience as a Montessori childhood educator and has been working with dyslexic children since 2005. She is a certified dyslexia tester/teacher and received her training from the Hornsby Dyslexia Centre in London (now known as Dyslexia Action). 
 
Lakshmi does consultations and testing for children, teenagers and adults at a holistic healing centre in Bangsar called Yoga Dynamics. Once the assessment has been completed, Lakshmi gives classes on a one-to-one basis in order to help dyslexic students cope with their difficulties and in some cases to even overcome their specific difficulties, particularly in reading, spelling and penmanship.
 
Early identification means early intervention - being able to help dyslexics cope better in school and with everyday issues especially reading, which is such an important part of our lives.
